Try Clove Paste or Clove Oil
Purchase ground cloves from the seasoning section in your local grocery store and mix it with water to make a paste. You can apply the paste to the area of your mouth that is hurting. It may sting at first, but it will numb your mouth and make the pain go away for a while. Unfortunately, cloves do not smell or taste that great. But, they do work and they are safe for the baby.
Salt and Warm Water
Rinse your mouth out with salt and warm water a few times a day. It might seem cliché, but it is a very effective way to help reduce the amount of discomfort you are feeling. In some cases, even mouthwash can help.
